Responsibilities include one or more of the following:
Directing development of new physical systems architectures for Analog Garage programs which require solutions connecting the physical and digital worlds (e.g., sensors, actuators, etc.), leveraging one or more semiconductor technologies including but not limited to CMOS ASIC, MEMS, More-than-Moore micro-/nano- fabrication, and advanced packaging.
Leading advanced technology development and delivering proof-of-concept followed by minimum viable products of physical systems needed for disruptive solutions of the approved Analog Garage programs.
Providing visionary leadership guidance for multi-disciplinary team of very senior technologists including analog/mixed-signal designers, digital designers, physical system architects, photonics experts, optics experts, and other semiconductor architects and technologists.
Working together with Algorithmic Solutions and Platform & Systems groups of the Analog Garage to jointly advancing the mission of the Garage and collaborating closely with advanced physical technology teams across ADI to leverage the wealth of existing company resources.
Minimum qualifications
- MSc in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 15+ years semiconductor industry experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years managing engineering teams; proven leadership of senior technologists, as well as track record of developing and mentoring new talent.
- Specializing in at least one of the following areas: system engineering, system application engineering, system architecture.
- Track record of successful development of products in semiconductor industry.
Preferred qualifications
Effective communication, judgment, and teamwork skills are essential.
Experienced working with customers and external partners.
Capable of adapting to the changing needs of early-stage research & development environment.
