Ceramics Engineer

My Fortune 500 client is seeking a skilled Ceramics Engineer to join their team in Uptown Charlotte. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, or a related field, with experience in designing, developing, and testing ceramic materials.

Responsibilities:

Designing and developing ceramic materials for various applications.
Conducting research and development activities related to ceramics.
Analyzing and testing the properties of ceramics to ensure they meet specific requirements.
Developing and implementing quality control measures for ceramic materials.
Collaborating with other engineers and scientists to develop new products and improve existing ones.
Providing technical support to customers and internal teams on ceramic materials.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in ceramics engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of ceramic materials and their properties.
Experience with design and development of ceramic materials for various applications.
Ability to analyze and test the properties of ceramics using various techniques and tools.
Knowledge of quality control measures and techniques for ceramic materials.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
