Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled and innovative Design Engineer to join our team. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and developing detailed designs using various software tools, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite. Additionally, experience with 3D printing technologies is highly desirable. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, prototype, and optimize products, ensuring their functionality, manufacturability, and aesthetic appeal.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize SolidWorks to create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings for new product designs.
• Use AutoCAD for 2D drafting and documentation tasks.
• Employ the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) to enhance visual presentations and create compelling product renderings.
• Collaborate with product managers, industrial designers, and manufacturing teams to understand design requirements and develop innovative solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and design reviews to evaluate design concepts and identify potential improvements.
• Perform analysis, simulations, and testing to validate design performance and reliability.
• Utilize 3D printing technologies for rapid prototyping and iterative design iterations.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in design engineering.
• Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to enhance design processes and outputs.
• Document design specifications, processes, and test results for internal reference and future product iterations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Design Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and the Adobe Suite.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, design standards, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with 3D printing technologies and rapid prototyping.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
