Systems Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration on both Windows and Linux systems, as well as expertise in Cyber Operations platforms. As a Systems Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems that support our organization’s operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of our systems.

Responsibilities:

• System Design: Design and architect complex systems and infrastructure solutions to meet the organization’s requirements, with a focus on security, scalability, and reliability.
• System Administration: Administer and maintain Windows and Linux systems, including installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Cyber Operations Platforms: Lead the design and implementation of Cyber Operations platforms, including intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS), SIEM, and threat hunting tools.
• Security: Ensure that all systems and platforms adhere to security best practices and actively participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, developers, and cybersecurity professionals, to ensure seamless integration of systems and applications.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system designs, configurations, and procedures.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues in a timely manner.
• Emerging Technologies: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for technology adoption and system enhancements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as a Systems Architect, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
• Expertise in system administration on both Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong knowledge of Cyber Operations platforms, including IDPS, SIEM, and threat hunting tools.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
