Hedge Fund Accounting Analyst in Chicago

Prestigious Institutional Investment Management firm in Downtown Chicago is seeking a Hedge Fund Accounting Analyst who can handle accounting and analytical responsibilities for several hedge funds.

Duties to include financial accounting at the fund and investor level, maintaining performance data, client servicing, assisting in tax return preparation and audits for the funds.

Provide support for the manager for the fund, including special projects or ongoing database maintenance responsibilities.  These databases could be investment related, such as attribution analysis.  There may be duties related to the investment manager entity for these funds.

There may be duties related to compliance for the firm and its affiliate, depending upon the employee’s abilities in performing investment compliance.

The ideal candidate will have some accounting or similar experience, with hedge fund or other investment experience favored.
