Role Overview: As the Manager of Health, Safety, and Environment, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and overseeing our HSE programs and initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a safe and environmentally sustainable workplace, aligned with regulatory standards and best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive HSE policies, programs, and practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership to foster a safety-first culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Monitor and assess workplace hazards and risks, and implement measures to mitigate them effectively.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with local, regional, and national regulations.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on HSE policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Analyze HSE data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish relationships with relevant regulatory agencies and community stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present HSE reports to leadership and external stakeholders as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in HSE management within healthcare.
  • In-depth knowledge of local and national HSE regulations and standards.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Certifications such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are a plus.
  • Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
