Microbiologist

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated microbiologist to join their team in Raleigh, NC.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and experiments related to microbiology, including the isolation, identification, and characterization of microorganisms. In addition, the microbiologist will be expected to analyze and interpret experimental data and prepare reports and presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and research related to microbiology
• Isolate, identify, and characterize microorganisms using a variety of techniques
  Analyze and interpret experimental data
• Prepare reports and presentations on research findings
• Collaborate with other members of the research team
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety protocols
• Stay up-to-date with advances in microbiology and related fields

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology or related field
• Strong laboratory skills and experience with microbiology techniques, including microscopy, bacterial culture, and DNA analysis
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing research needs
