Laboratory Technician (BSL2)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory testing and experiments in a BSL2 environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests and experiments in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation
  Participate in laboratory maintenance activities, including cleaning and equipment maintenance
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper waste disposal protocols
• Communicate effectively with other members of the laboratory team
  Contribute to the development and improvement of laboratory procedures and protocols

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field

At least 1 year of experience working in a BSL2 laboratory environment

Familiarity with standard laboratory equipment and techniques

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
