Senior Manager/Associate Audit Director 

A unique opening within its Accounting & Auditing practice, with excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.  In addition to the typical engagement management responsibilities, this individual will have significant responsibility for the technical review of financial statements, compilations and reviews for privately held companies in a variety of industries.

As the Associate Audit Director, this role will spend almost half the time performing reviews, researching and resolving technical accounting issues, working with engagement teams on the application of principles and standards, studying and communicating new pronouncements, developing and delivering related trainings in-house, and handling independence and compliance reporting.  Senior engagement manager responsibilities include: planning and managing all phases of audit, compilation and review engagements, reviewing work, supervising and developing staff, developing and maintaining client relationships, writing engagement letters, and management letters and reports.

The successful candidate has:

7 or more years experience in public accounting

Proficiency in accounting principles, auditing and other professional standards

Current technical knowledge of GAAP & other related standards

Proficiency managing multiple clients/engagements

Dedication to quality client service

Strong analytical and leadership skills

Excellent oral/written communication skills

CPA required

Ability to travel (occasional local and out-of-town/overnight travel)

Experience with manufacturing, distribution, non-for-profits, services, or employee benefit plans a plus.
