Seeking an experienced Embryologist who is proficient in all aspects of clinical embryology and cryopreservation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reproductive biology, laboratory techniques, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all laboratory procedures related to clinical embryology, including oocyte retrieval, insemination, embryo culture, embryo grading, and embryo transfer.
- Conduct cryopreservation procedures for embryos, oocytes, and sperm, ensuring proper handling and storage techniques.
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies to ensure accurate and efficient operation.
- Maintain detailed records of laboratory procedures, patient information, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with other members of the fertility team, including physicians, nurses, and laboratory staff, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the highest standards of laboratory performance and patient safety.
- Stay informed about advancements in the field of reproductive medicine and incorporate new techniques and technologies into laboratory practices when appropriate.
- Provide support and counseling to patients regarding fertility treatment options, procedures, and outcomes.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the practice of clinical embryology and patient care.
- Contribute to research initiatives and publications aimed at advancing the field of reproductive medicine.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, reproductive science, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) preferred.
- Experience working as an embryologist in a clinical setting, with demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of clinical embryology and cryopreservation.
- Strong understanding of reproductive physiology, gamete handling techniques, and laboratory protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in patient care and laboratory practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards applicable to clinical embryology laboratories.
- Willingness to pursue continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in the field.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, with a focus on providing support and guidance throughout the fertility treatment process.
