Job Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Credit Analyst to join our team . The Credit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating the creditworthiness of our clients and assessing their financial stability.
Role:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of loan applicants, including financial statements, tax returns, and credit reports
- Evaluate the creditworthiness of loan applicants and make recommendations on loan approvals or denials
- Identify potential risks in loan applications and propose mitigating measures
- Review and analyze loan applications, credit reports, and other financial data to determine creditworthiness
- Prepare credit reports and summaries for loan committees and management
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and assist them in understanding their creditworthiness
- Work closely with loan officers, underwriters, and other bank staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications
- Monitor loan performance and identify potential issues or opportunities for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations related to credit analysis
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
3+ years of experience in credit analysis or related field
Familiarity with financial software and tools, such as Moody’s Analytics or Fitch Ratings
Understanding of banking regulations and lending practices
Professional certification, such as CFA, CPA, or FRM, is a plus
