Systems Biologist

This new role will focus on computational data analysis and is responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex biological data using computational and mathematical models. This role involves working closely with laboratory researchers and other experts to understand biological systems and generate hypotheses.

Role:

1. Collecting and analyzing data from various sources, including genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and imaging
2. Developing and applying computational models to analyze complex biological systems and identify key features.
3. Collaborating with laboratory researchers to design experiments and generate data.
4. Analyzing experimental data and integrating it with existing knowledge to develop new insights into biological systems.
5. Presenting findings to research teams, collaborators, and stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and publications.
6. Staying up-to-date with advances in computational and systems biology, and exploring new computational methods and tools to improve data analysis and modeling.

Qualifications:

1. A Ph.D. in biology, computational biology, bioinformatics, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical and computational skills, including experience with data analysis and modeling.
3. Experience working with biological data, including genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics.
4. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in computational biology, such as R, Python, and MATLAB.
5. Knowledge of biological systems and the ability to develop and test hypotheses based on data analysis and modeling.
