Employee Benefits Manager in Dallas

Our client is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Manager to join their HR team. The Employee Benefits Manager will be responsible for overseeing the administration of employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and developing and implementing policies to improve the overall employee benefits experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the administration of all employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement plans, and other related programs
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and other state and federal laws related to employee benefits
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the employee benefits experience, including communication and education strategies
  • Evaluate and recommend changes to the benefits package based on industry trends and employee feedback
  • Manage relationships with third-party vendors such as insurance brokers, carriers, and administrators
  • Collaborate with HR team to develop and implement a comprehensive wellness program
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit-related transactions
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on benefit-related matters
    Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to employee benefits

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in employee benefits administration, including managing health and retirement plans
  • Strong knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, ACA, and other regulatory requirements related to employee benefits
  • Experience with benefit plan design and implementation, communication and education strategies, and vendor management
  • HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, or CEBS preferred
