Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

SourceCandidates is performing marketing and sourcing for a QA Engineer with Automation and Selenium expertise to be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products and systems through the creation and implementation of automated tests. The role involves collaborating with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test cases and execute them using automated testing tools such as Selenium.

The key responsibilities of a Senior QA Engineer with Automation and Selenium expertise include:

• Developing and executing automated test plans and scripts to verify software functionality, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and ensure test coverage meets project needs.
• Developing and maintaining automated test frameworks, tools, and libraries to support testing efforts.
• Analyzing test results and reporting defects to development teams for resolution.
  Conducting root cause analysis of defects and identifying areas for process improvement.
• Mentoring and coaching other QA team members on automation best practices and techniques.
• Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in automation and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, as well as expertise in automation and the use of Selenium for test automation. They should also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required, along with several years of experience in quality assurance and automation.
