Laboratory Technician BSL Level 2
We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Technician with experience working in a Biosafety Level 2 (BSL-2) laboratory. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic research environment and be responsible for performing laboratory experiments and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
Perform laboratory experiments and procedures in a BSL-2 environment
Follow laboratory protocols and procedures accurately and safely
Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
Keep accurate records of experimental procedures and results
Participate in the development and optimization of laboratory protocols
Assist in the training of new laboratory staff
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (e.g. biology, microbiology, biochemistry)
Experience working in a BSL-2 laboratory environment
Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures and regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory software applications
