Product Engineering Manager

We are seeking a Product Engineering Manager to lead product design and development and optimize processes to ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, or other regulatory requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches. The ideal candidate will have experience in product design and development, process optimization, and driving compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead product design and development activities, including prototyping, testing, and design for manufacturability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches
- Develop and optimize processes to improve product quality, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
- Drive compliance with ISO, FDA, or other regulatory requirements
- Manage a team of engineers and provide technical guidance and mentorship
- Work with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and components
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets
- Communicate project status and risks to upper management
- Continuously improve product design and development processes and practices
- Ensure products meet customer needs and expectations
- Provide technical support to production and customer support teams
- Identify and mitigate technical risks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience in product design and development
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams
- Strong understanding of ISO, FDA, or other regulatory requirements
- Experience with process optimization and improvement
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with medical devices or other regulated products is a plus
