Our Company is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Build Release Manager to join our team. As a QA Build Release Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful release of high-quality software products and driving the efficiency of our build and release processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire build and release process, ensuring timely and successful software product releases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software development, quality assurance, and operations, to define and implement effective build and release strategies
  • Design and maintain the build and release pipeline, including build scripts, automation tools, and deployment processes
  • Develop and enforce best practices for version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery
  • Monitor and troubleshoot build failures, performance issues, and infrastructure problems
  • Conduct regular audits of the build and release process to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions
  • Manage the release schedule, coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring smooth transitions between development, testing, and production environments
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to build and release management, implementing relevant advancements into our processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven experience in QA build and release management, preferably in an Agile development environment
  • Strong knowledge of software build and release processes, including version control, build automation, and deployment strategies
  • Proficiency in build and release tools such as Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Docker
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on ensuring high-quality software releases
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and infrastructure, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus
