We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled R&D Electrical Engineer to join our team in Milford, MI.
This role will be responsible for designing and developing advanced cryogenic systems for scientific research. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MATLAB, Cadence OrCad Pspice, LTspice, Microwave Office, and Vivado.
- Design and develop advanced cryogenic systems for scientific research.
- Develop and implement electrical control systems for cryogenic systems.
- Work collaboratively with physicists and other engineers to design and optimize cryogenic systems.
- Create and maintain schematics and other documentation related to electrical systems.
- Conduct simulations using MATLAB, Cadence OrCad Pspice, LTspice, Microwave Office, and Vivado to optimize system performance.
- Conduct experiments and testing to validate system designs and performance.
Participate in the development of proposals and grant applications to support research projects.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong background in electrical engineering with experience in cryogenic systems.
Proficiency in MATLAB, Cadence OrCad Pspice, LTspice, Microwave Office, and Vivado.
Familiarity with programming languages such as C++ and Python is desirable.
Experience with high-frequency circuits, microwave devices, and superconducting electronics is a plus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to publish research in scientific journals.
