The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data architecture and infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. They will also be proficient in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain our data architecture and infrastructure.
Create and manage ETL processes to extract data from various sources and load it into our data warehouse.
Develop and maintain data models to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
Develop and maintain data pipelines for data transformation, integration, and analysis.
Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements and provide support as needed.
Monitor and maintain the performance and security of our data infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in data engineering.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Java.
Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
Experience with cloud-based data solutions such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
