Job Description: As a Software Test Engineer in Nashville, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests using Selenium framework. Your primary objective will be to identify and report any defects or issues, ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other relevant tools.
• Design, execute, and analyze test cases to identify software defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and develop comprehensive test plans.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers on testability aspects.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and test automation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer, specifically working with Selenium for test automation.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and processes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Java.
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web application testing.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes.

Preferred:

• Experience with other test automation frameworks and tools such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, or Appium.
• Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN) and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla).
