STEM Recruiter in Chicago

Responsible for identifying and attracting top talent to fill open positions at leading clients of SourceCandidates. Work closely with hiring managers and human resources teams to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies. Key responsibilities of a recruiter  include:

Sourcing and identifying potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events
Conducting initial phone or video screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role
Coordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders
Conducting reference checks and verifying employment and educational histories of candidates
Providing feedback to hiring managers on candidate performance and fit
Negotiating job offers and assisting with the onboarding process for new hires
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate data in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools
Keeping up with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field
Experience in recruitment or a related field preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of recruitment tools and technologies, including applicant tracking systems, social media platforms, and job boards
Understanding of employment laws and regulations
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
