Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced biologist with expertise in fermentation and bacteria to join our dynamic research and development team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our ongoing projects related to microbial strain improvement, bioprocess optimization, and the development of novel products.
- Design and execute experiments involving the cultivation of bacteria and other microorganisms in bioreactors and fermentation systems.
- Characterize microbial strains, assess their performance, and identify potential improvements.
- Conduct molecular biology techniques to engineer microbial strains for enhanced productivity.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to contribute to project planning and execution.
- Stay current with the latest developments in microbiology and fermentation technologies.
- A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in biology, microbiology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in microbial fermentation, bioprocess engineering, and strain improvement.
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and maintaining microbial cultures.
- Strong molecular biology skills, including genetic engineering techniques.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements in biotechnology.
- Experience with data analysis software and statistical tools is a plus.
