Medical Technician BSL1
Our client is currently seeking qualified Medical Technicians to join their healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures, analyzing samples, and maintaining accurate records of test results. The Medical Technician will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, such as blood tests, urine tests, and microbiology cultures
- Analyze samples and interpret test results in a BSL1 Environment
- Maintain accurate records of test results and patient information
- Ensure proper functioning of laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results
- Communicate test results to healthcare professionals in a timely and accurate manner
- Assist with the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols
- Provide support to other healthcare professionals as needed
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Medical Technology or related field
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and computer systems
