Food Scientist

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Food Scientist with experience in alternative protein fermentation to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field, and a strong background in fermentation processes. The Food Scientist should be innovative, analytical, and able to work independently.
Role:
- Design and conduct experiments to optimize alternative protein fermentation processes
- Develop and scale up fermentation processes for alternative protein production
- Conduct sensory and nutritional analyses of alternative protein products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve technical challenges
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of experiments
- Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in alternative protein production
- Design and conduct experiments to optimize alternative protein fermentation processes
Food Scientist Requirements:
- PhD in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field
- Experience in fermentation process development
- Experience in alternative protein production preferred
- Strong understanding of fermentation principles and techniques
- Experience with lab-scale and pilot-scale fermentation systems
