Gaming Developer

Flex week in office paying base to $120,000

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the game design team to understand and implement game mechanics, features, and systems.
• Develop and code gameplay elements, character behavior, and game logic using programming languages and game development tools.
• Create and optimize game systems, including graphics, physics, audio, and user interfaces.
• Debug and fix issues related to game performance, functionality, and user experience.
• Collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to ensure the seamless integration of assets and components into the game.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to enhance the quality and innovation of game development processes.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience with game engines and frameworks, such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
• Solid understanding of game development principles, including gameplay mechanics, level design, and user interface.
• Familiarity with 2D and/or 3D graphics programming and tools.
• Knowledge of physics and mathematics for game development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas and solutions.
• Passion for gaming and a strong desire to create immersive and enjoyable gaming experiences.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in game development or related projects.
• Published games or game demos showcasing your development skills.
• Experience with AI programming and multiplayer game development.
• Understanding of game optimization techniques and performance profiling.

Salary: The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience with a max of $120,000 on base plus bonus incentives.
