We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team in Atlanta.

As a Process Engineer, you will play a critical role in evaluating process and equipment performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing solutions to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Process Engineer Role:

  • Proactively evaluate process and equipment performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct analysis and troubleshooting of process chemistry and equipment issues, including pumps, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, absorbers, strippers, boilers, combustion equipment, reactors, and high-pressure steam systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions to resolve process and equipment-related problems.
  • Perform process simulations, modeling, and optimization to enhance plant performance and productivity.
  • Generate technical reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Participate in process hazard analyses, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Support process engineering studies and projects, including process design, equipment selection, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, including environmental, health, and safety requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in process engineering.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering principles, including process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software such as Aspen Plus or HYSYS.
  • Experience with process equipment and systems, including pumps, compressors, turbines, heat exchangers, boilers, and reactors.
  • Familiarity with process control systems and instrumentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or certification.
  • Experience with process safety management and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles.
