Senior Scientist, Product Development

We are seeking a Senior Scientist to lead the development of new or improved products through the synthesis and characterization of metal oxide materials. In this role, you will apply chemical principles and your expertise in materials science to develop and optimize new products, processes, and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, materials science, and product development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of new or improved products through the synthesis and characterization of metal oxide materials
• Apply chemical principles and your expertise in materials science to optimize product properties and performance
• Develop and execute experimental plans and analyze data to drive product development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product development aligns with customer needs and market trends
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners
• Communicate technical information and results to internal and external teams
• Identify and implement new technologies and processes to improve product
• development efficiency and effectiveness
• Write technical reports, patent applications, and scientific publications

Requirements:

• PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in the synthesis and characterization of metal oxide materials
• Strong background in chemical principles and materials science
• Experience with experimental design and data analysis
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
• Experience with intellectual property protection and patent applications is a plus
