Manager of Regulatory Research

Our client is seeking a Manager of Regulatory Research to join their pharmaceutical company and lead the research efforts for the regulatory and government affairs department. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and drug discovery, as well as experience working with regulatory agencies and government relations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the research efforts for the regulatory and government affairs department
• Stay up-to-date with the latest regulatory requirements and changes, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and government officials
• Analyze regulatory policies and assess their impact on drug development and commercialization
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including drug discovery, clinical development, and commercial teams, to ensure alignment on regulatory strategies
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the regulatory and government affairs team
• Represent the company in external meetings with regulatory agencies, government officials, and industry associations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant scientific field, such as pharmacology, chemistry, or biology
• Several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on regulatory affairs and government relations
• Strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes
• Excellent knowledge of FDA regulations and guidelines
• Experience working with international regulatory agencies is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information to diverse audiences
