Senior Accountant Charlotte 

Job Summary: The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and overseeing the accounting functions of the organization. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, provide guidance and support to other members of the accounting team, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements • Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to management • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures • Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures • Provide guidance and support to other members of the accounting team • Assist with the year-end audit process • Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting • Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field • CPA or equivalent certification preferred • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other applicable accounting standards • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software • Experience with ERP systems preferred
