Job Summary: Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer Charlotte with a strong background in product design and circuit board development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development of new products and improving existing ones, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and are cost-effective to manufacture.
Senior Electrical Engineer Charlotte Role
- Lead the development of new products, from concept to production, ensuring that they meet customer requirements and are cost-effective to manufacture.
- Design and develop complex circuit boards, taking into account factors such as power consumption, thermal management, and signal integrity.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure that products meet regulatory and safety requirements.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement test plans and procedures to verify the functionality and reliability of products.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that components and materials meet specifications and are available on time and within budget.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians to improve their skills and knowledge.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in technology and industry trends related to product design and circuit board development.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product design and circuit board development.
- Strong understanding of circuit board design principles, including power management, thermal management, and signal integrity.
- Experience with CAD tools, such as Altium Designer or Eagle PCB.
- Experience with product development processes, from concept to production.
