Stemta is a STEM Social Network, providing Job Posts, Resume Database, and Recruiting Services. Sign up as either an Employer/Recruiter or a STEM Professional. STEM Professionals can post updates on their profile, create a resume, apply to job listings, and network with Employers/Recruiters. Employer/Recruiters can post updates to the network, post open positions, and network with STEM Professionals.
After receiving an invitation, a person can Register for a Free Account, providing an email address, first name, and a unique nickname. After signing up the member will receive a confirmation email
Important – To avoid too many auto emails, please change your settings from the Account Menu tab and then select Notification Settings to choose what emails to receive. Messages will also appear when logged in.
Members on Stemta.com can create a profile. Profile details are only viewable by other Members. Members can modify Profile Visibility Settings on the Privacy tab under Account Settings
Members can create unlimited Social Groups, and can choose to make the Group either Public(viewable to all website visitors), Private(viewable to only allowed Members), or Hidden(viewable to only the Member). The Group Organizer can invite specific Members to join their Group, and control settings on Group privacy and who can invite other Members.
Members can create posts to their Timeline, including updates to their careers and employers. Members can control who sees a specific post by choosing Public, All Members, My Connections, or only the Member.
Members can send Email Invites to their friends from the tab on profile or menu.
Members can request to connect with other Members, and can send private messages to all connections.
Members can view Notifications from the Notifications Tabs. Members can control and limit any or all notifications on the Notification Settings tab on the Account Settings page. Members can choose which notifications be viewable in the tab as well as via email.
Members will receive Points based on login frequency, post activity, comments and likes, and more! Points can be used for prizes and contests and giveaways – Coming Soon!
Members can schedule and manage ZOOM Meetings inside the ZOOM Meetings group – Coming Soon!
Stemta.com is self moderated. If a post or member is blocked by 5 other members then it will be auto removed, and Member can appeal any removal.
Members can delete their account at any time on the Account Settings page, and can request all their Data via an export file
Members agree to not abuse or spam other Members, or post anything illegal.
