Semiconductor Engineering Technician

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Semiconductor Engineering Technicians to join our team in Phoenix. As a Semiconductor Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for assisting in the development, testing, and troubleshooting of semiconductor devices. Your primary focus will be on performing various technical tasks, such as equipment setup, data collection, and analysis. You will work closely with engineers and scientists to support their research and development efforts.
Daily Role:
- Set up and operate semiconductor fabrication equipment, including lithography, etching, deposition, and characterization tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Collect and analyze data from experiments and tests, and provide accurate and detailed reports to engineers and scientists.
- Assist in the design and implementation of experiments, including sample preparation and device assembly.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and propose and implement solutions to improve performance and yield.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in semiconductor technology and participate in training programs to enhance technical skills.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Technology, or a related field. A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Semiconductor Engineering Technician or a similar role in a semiconductor fabrication environment.
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes, including lithography, etching, deposition, and characterization.
- Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting semiconductor fabrication equipment and tools.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, safety procedures, and handling hazardous materials.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers, scientists, and other team members.
