Senior Director of Accounting

As a Sr Director of Accounting you will be responsible for all aspects of accounting for the Company’s analytics, advisory, and specialist offerings and will be highly focused on revenue recognition. In this role, you will lead a team of employees who manage the revenue, billing, and related expenses for the offerings including the application of the technical revenue recognition standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Manage the revenue recognition and billing process for contracts.
Review and approve revenue recognition policies and procedures.
Manage month-end general ledger close including the review of balance sheet reconciliations, various month-end analyses, and metrics.
Direct and oversee the accounting processes and activities that support the launch of new products and services.
Serve as SME for the AR, activity and billing modules of the accounting ERP system.
Manage the review and accounting analysis of executed contracts.
Lead initiatives to improve and enhance revenue recognition processes, reporting, risk mitigation, and internal control.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA certification
10+ years of accounting experience with a heavy focus on revenue recognition
Public accounting experience preferred
